What is Methi Pak?
An Indian winter must! Methi Pak is another traditional Gujarati snack, prepared in Gujarati kitchens to keep the body in good condition, especially during the harsh winters.
This homemade winter tonic has many health benefits including: back pain, last month of pregnancy and after pregnancy, arthritis and many more.
When I was younger, my late mum used to make this recipe and after watching her make it for years, she passed the recipe onto me. I am still using the same recipe and method. Everything is always handmade with love and care.
Methi pak is bitter sweet in taste – many people have different amounts of bitterness they prefer. As with any recipe, this has been perfected to the tastebuds of our customers for the ideal balance.
It is set out into a tray and then carefully cut into squares of substance. Our recipes are very simple without any extras.
What are Methi Pak ingredients?
Ingredients: Clarified butter ghee, Gram flour, Singoda flour, Elachi (cardamom) powder, Almonds, Pistachio, Sakar, Coconut flakes, Caster sugar, Fenugreek powder.
