Eid Sweets and Biscuits: A UK Gifting Guide
Eid is a time for visiting family, sharing food and giving gifts, and sweets and biscuits are at the centre of it. This guide covers the homemade treats that suit Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha in the UK, and how to order them in time.

Biscuits for Eid
Karachi biscuits (coconut pinwheels) are a Gujarati favourite at Eid: soft, buttery biscuits with a swirl of coconut filling. A tray holds about 32 pieces, which makes it ideal for guests. Nankhatai is a classic ghee biscuit that melts in the mouth and pairs well with chai. A tray holds about 28 pieces and these also make good favours. Flower biscuits and assorted mix biscuits are buttery biscuits with chocolate and sprinkles, popular with children.
Sweets for Eid
For a richer sweet table, add Magaj, Methi Pak or Panjiri. A small box of each on a plate looks generous and lets guests choose. We also make a few Eid specials, such as Meethi Roti and Coconut Gulab Jamun, in limited quantities when available, so check the shop.

When to order for Eid
Eid al-Fitr follows Ramadan and Eid al-Adha follows the Hajj season. Their dates move each year and depend on the moon, so plan early. Everything is made fresh to order, so please allow about 10 days and order sooner in the days before Eid, when the kitchen is busiest.
A gift hamper
For a bigger gift, choose our gift hamper in Sweets, Savouries or Mixed. It is made to order, so please allow 20 days.
